The Reason of Losing Hair and Ayurveda treatment For Curing

A common Hair problem Alopecia areata is an autoimmune condition in which the body attacks its own hair follicles. Alopecia Areata usually starts as a single quarter-sized circle of perfectly smooth bald skin. These patches usually regrow in three to six months without treatment. Sometimes, white hair temporarily regrows and then becomes dark. Alopecia areata can affect hair on other parts of the body, too like the beard or eyebrows.

Hair loss can affect just your scalp or your entire body, and it can be temporary or permanent. It can be the result of heredity, hormonal changes, medical conditions or a normal part of aging. Anyone can lose hair on their head, but it’s more common in men. Baldness typically refers to excessive hair loss from your scalp. Hereditary hair loss with age is the most common cause of baldness. People typically lose 50 to 100 hairs a day. This usually isn’t noticeable because new hair is growing in at the same time. Hair loss occurs when new hair doesn’t replace the hair that has fallen out.

Causes of Hair Loss:

A variety of conditions can cause temporary or permanent hair loss, some of which are:

  • Hereditary hair loss: Both men and women develop this type of hair loss, which is the most common cause of hair loss. This is called as androgenic alopecia.
  • Age: With growing age most people notice some hair loss because hair grows slowly. At some point, hair follicles stop growing hair, which causes the hair on our scalp to thin. Hair also starts to lose its color and hairline naturally starts to recede.
  • Alopecia areata: It is a disease that develops when the body’s immune system attacks hair follicles, causing hair loss. You can lose hair anywhere on your body, including your scalp, inside your nose, and in your ears. Some people lose their eyelashes or eyebrows too.
  • Cancer treatment: If you undergo chemotherapy or have radiation treatment to your head or neck, you may lose all your hair within a few weeks of treatment.
  • Childbirth, illness, or other stressors: Few months after giving birth, recovering from an illness, or having an operation, you may notice a lot more hairs in your brush or on your pillow. This can also happen after a stressful time in your life.
  • Hair loss: If you color, perm, or relax your hair, you could be damaging your hair. Over time, this damage can lead to hair loss.
  • Hairstyles and treatments: Excessive hairstyling that pull your hair tight, such as pigtails or cornrows, can cause a type of hair loss called traction alopecia. Hot-oil hair treatments and permanents also can cause hair to fall out. If you often wear your hair tightly pulled back, the continual pulling can lead to permanent hair loss. The medical name for this condition is traction alopecia
  • Hormonal imbalance: hormonal changes can occur due to pregnancy, childbirth, menopause and thyroid problems. Stopping some types of birth control pills can also cause a temporary hormonal imbalance. Women who develop a hormonal imbalance can develop hair loss on their scalp.
  • Scalp infection: A scalp infection can lead to scaly and sometimes inflamed areas on your scalp. You may see what look like small black dots on your scalp. These are actually stubs of hair. Some people develop a bald spot.
  • Medication: Hair loss can be side effect of certain drugs such as the drugs used for cancer, arthritis, depression, gout and high blood pressure.
  • Scalp psoriasis: Many people who have plaque psoriasis develop psoriasis on their scalp at some point. This can lead to hair loss.
  • Pulling your hair: Some people pull on their hair, often to relieve stress. The medical term for this is trichotillomania.
  • Scarring alopecia: This condition develops when inflammation destroys hair follicles. Once destroyed, a hair follicle cannot grow hair. Diverse conditions can cause this. The medical name for this group of conditions is cicatricial alopecia.
  • Sexually transmitted infection like Syphillis.
  • Less intake of biotin, iron, protein, or zinc.
