Eyes are the superb gift of nature to humans. Without eyes, a human’s life is like living in a black hole where everything is same i.e., black. As an ancient idiom in Hindi mentions, “Sawan ke andhe ko sab hara hi hara dikhai deta hai”, which indicates the fool person believes the things as per his knowledge and conscience without understanding other’s advice. He can never differentiate the colors and also feels that the nature is black and same all around. But, being blind naturally from birth and getting blindness out of an accident, injury or a disease are two different things. Use of spectacles was said to be a Luxury of the rich people or those, who studies more than others. But, now the situation is totally different, every second person is wearing spectacles.

  • Put some drops of rosewater in your eyes before going to bed to drain all the dust particles and cleanse them.
  • Perform some eye exercises that will improve the blood circulation and help to maintain optimum vision.

Exercises for Healthy Eyes

  • Roll the eyes clockwise and anticlockwise for 20-30 seconds each.
  • Quick blinking for 20-30 seconds after some time intervals.
  • Rub your palms for 4 to 5 minutes, partially fold them to make curves and place on your closed eyes.

Home Remedies for Improving Eyesight

1. Almonds

The most effective and best home remedy for improving eyesight is the consumption of almonds. Being naturally rich in Omega 3 fatty acids and antioxidants they not only benefit the eye health but also enhance the memory and concentration levels. It can be taken in the two healthiest ways.

How to Use
